What NodalPulse is not — and where it's still maturing.
We'd rather you know the gaps up front. For a regulatory professional, a confident wrong answer is worse than an honest "not yet."
CAISO and PJM are Beta, not GA.
High-value filings that reference orders or tariff sections outside the document may produce less complete summaries — cross-references that require reading a prior order or a tariff section aren't always captured in a single-filing extraction. We label confidence, validate continuously, and are adding coverage as the Beta window progresses. Beta is included at no extra cost with any paid plan.
CPUC coverage has empirical limits.
CPUC proceedings are covered — NodalPulse crawls docs.cpuc.ca.gov daily. Two limits to know: prepared testimony is submitted directly to the ALJ and does not appear in the public documents index (Supporting Documents filings typically carry witness statements); and documents appear in the index only after they are accepted for filing, so there is a publication lag. You will see what's in the public index, accurately labeled.
PJM state coverage is phased.
Launch is complete on FERC + Independent Market Monitor + stakeholder. The 13 states and DC in the PJM footprint roll out in waves — PA/NJ/MD/VA → OH/IL → the rest — each with a visible per-state badge on the PJM page. Not all states on day one.
Some FERC deadlines are computed estimates.
The FERC protest/comment window lives in the FERC Notice — a separate document issued days after a filing posts — not in the filing itself. Until Notice-confirmed deadlines are implemented, dates we infer from filing text carry an estimated badge and a verify link. FERC rehearing windows (30 days statutory) and published PJM calendar dates are shown as confirmed. See the methodology for full detail.
Cross-jurisdiction linking improves over time.
A single matter that spans CAISO, FERC, and CPUC — or PJM FERC, a state commission, and the Market Monitor — is linked best-effort: we anchor on the FERC docket and attach extracted references. Linking deepens as extraction reads more filings from the same matter. It is not complete on day one.
NodalPulse is supplementary, not the system of record.
For a filing of record, confirm against the primary source — we link you there. We are regulatory intelligence, not a regulator's docket system and not a reporting or management platform. Use us to understand what's happening and what's due; rely on the source system for formal submissions.
